I'm working on a book to be publihsed in 2008 on the late illustrator
and muralist Alton S. Tobey (1914-2005) and would be interested in
hearing from any artists who have studied with or under him (at Yale
School of Fine Arts where he taught, or privately); anyone who may own
any of his original paintings (not prints or other reproductions, like
the collector plates he did art for) and anyone else who may have
information on him that isn't yet on his website at www.altontobey.org,
for possible inclusion in the book.Thank you.
