The Art of Horse Shoeing by William Hunting 1922 VGC 223 pages.
Superb copy of this scarce book in lovely condition,absolutely packed
with illustrations.

Some headings :- Form & Action of the foot / Preparation of the foot /
Form & manafacture of shoes / Selection of shoes / Fitting &
application of the shoes /Roughing or sharpening /Shoeing bad feet /
Occasional shoes etc.

Shoeing hasn't changed all that much. The materials have changed
significantly - from wrought iron to exotics - but Archimedes still
rules the roost.
