Email contact at Delphi ? Adrian 08-26-2007

HI All

May be a little off topic - but does anybody have an effective email
contact for Delphi ?

What started out as a couple of small irritations (failure to apply
discount, and what looks like overcharging on shipping) has grown to
the stage that 'someone' further up the Management tree really ought
to know about it. The general 'sales@' email is taking days & days not
to resolve the issue, and another contact who emailed me from the
company is now not replying...

This is not the first time I've had trouble with Delphi - took quite a
few months to get a catalogue out of them in the first place....
getting to the stage that I'm wondering why I'm bothering...

Trouble is - they do stock some items that it's difficult to obtain
over here in Ireland - but it may be simpler for me to just to drop
the products that use those items!

So - does anybody know an email address for 'The Boss' @
Delphiglass.com ?

Thanks
Adrian

I've only had one problem with an order from them and that was a small
item not included in the shipping box that they "swore" was packaged and
even grabbed someone who supposedly package the box. I have called them
voice and get things resolved. But used the same phone number listed in
the catalog, no special supervisor's number.

What type of items are you looking for? I may know of another site here
in the States that also stocks a lot of what Delphi carries.

Welcome,
Jim

Ah - the famous 'evaporating item' trick <g>
I _could_ phone - but it's expensive from this side of the pont.
So far they've admitted that they didn't give me the BOGO discount -
and credited it back. For a week they argued that $40 shipping was
reasonable on 6.5 ounces of product - then they discovered that they'd
charged me for a 7lb package (which, despite being sent 'expedited' -
sat at an airport in Germany for four days, doing nothing).

Now waiting days for replies to emails - which is why I was wondering
about alternative, more effective, email addresses.... <g>

Oh - that'd be interesting....
One item that I can't seem to find anywhere else is engraved bevels -
the oval ones (6" x 4" or thereabouts) with sailboats, lighthouses
etc. These are nice 'accents' for door & window panels.

I've found alternative (cheaper, faster) suppliers for dichro
pinwheels - one smaller company in Florida turns round emails in 24
hours and gets product to me within 5 days for only $6 airmail - much
better...

If you have alternative (to Delphi) Stateside suppliers who offer
sensible postage & reasonable customer service then I'm all ears !

Many thanks
