You might try doing a search on your own...like with Google. you can
melt just about any glass with a torch but you'll want some oxy going
with it for more heat. Plus, a jar or bottle is a pretty big piece of
glass to be heating on a torch...especially for beginner. Most
furnaces for melting glass are run on either electric or natural gas.
