I don't know if this has been posted before, but it's new to me... I've
(very briefly) looked through it, and I think some of you will find
this interesting...

It's a pretty complete discussion of wootz steel. Just what I need,
more bedtime reading... (I already have a stack of books a couple of
feet high by my bed!).
