I was wondering if anyone had a guess about these pieces. They are from the
estate of a family that was well travelled and the traveling seemed to be in
the fifies and sixties. There were many pieces from Asia, Africa, South
America.
These pieces are made of yellow brass and the longer one is about 12" long.
The designs are rather odd, because the shapes don't allow the pieces to sit
on a base area, or be attached relative to any other part of the piece.
They almost look like they were meant to be handheld for whatever reason.
The red residue on the longer piece seems to be a very red clay.
Any thoughts will be appreciated.
Thanks
Bill
